Last summer, driving through Arizona after picking up our camper I fell in like with frozen lemonade. It was 113 there in Mesa. It's no wonder! I bought at least 5 from McD's on that trip. Now that it is getting warmer here I started thinking about that heavenly, slushy (although kind of fake) drink again. What would it taste like with real lemon juice and fresh strawberries???
So I developed a recipe:
Frozen Strawberry Lemonade
1 pckg fresh strawberries, washed and tops cut off
1 C lemon juice
1 C sugar + 1 C water, warmed on the stove until sugar dissolves
enough ice to fill the blender
Blend and enjoy!
