I am almost ready to address the pain of losing this house we were building.
For about a year it was our dream.
It was a floorplan we were designing.
It was a plot of land with trees we thought was perfect.
Near friends we thought we'd have forever.
It wasn't really what we were dreaming it was.
There was horrible problems we discovered thankfully before it was too late.
But a dream it was.
And losing it was sad. And still involves tears.
Thank you for being brave enough to share that pain. Losing a dream and having to create a new plan for the future is always so hard to do. It's like you have to rewind the tape you had going labeled "future" and start all over again.

I don't know what happen, nor do I need to. I just wanted to tell you I was very sad when things fell apart. I am happy your family found a great home though! Although, I miss seeing your family regularly, I wish your family many years of great memories in your new home!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to change your plans. I'm so sorry. Hopefully this new plan is even better than you could imagine for yourself.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys, I appreciate it!
