This wonder woman (see the T-shirt) chose and designed her own experiment to see if the gasses emitted when you mix baking soda and vinegar, or lemon juice would blow up a balloon. She tried a number of combinations including adding some different amounts of water to the acid + soda combo.

Her results were the best with a large amount of baking soda and vinegar. Lemon juice didn't do as well, and adding water made it less effective, as well.
I love this girl. She has such unique and independent interests. Watching her grow is so rewarding for me.
