Grilled Kabobs
We got metal kabob skewers a few years ago, because we love the taste of things cooked on our charcoal grill and we knew we'd be doing it a lot. By the way, did you know that you can use the (clean) kabob sticks as marshmallow roasters with a hot pad around the top? Maybe that isn't safe. Scratch that, forget I said it. But if you didn't forget then just consider yourself informed that when using charcoal you can use the smoldering embers to roast marshmallows on after you've all enjoyed your BBQ feast.
What we like to do is marinate our meat and vegetables for a day before skewering. I've found I can buy really cheap beef stew meat that is already cut up for about $4 total, and if it is marinated long enough and then grilled on charcoal it is still tasty!
