One of the best things about buying a "used" house versus building a new one is all of the little things that are already done like installing ceiling fans and covering the windows, etc.
One of the challenges of getting a foreclosure in "as is" condition is not being able to count on any of those things. Thankfully, there were many windows covered with blinds in usable (but not great) condition. Some windows' blinds had been completely destroyed, however.
After a month or two of us wondering how the neighbors liked our skimpies, we finally coughed up the cash and ordered blinds.
To Blinds.com we say: Thank You.
To our Neighbors we say: You're Welcome.
P.S. I link to these parties.
A sad day for the neighborhood.
