Bobi - I love your ideas for decorating small spaces! I'm starting a blog and wondered how you get your images? I've read that you may need permission to post pictures from other websites. Do you need to get permission or is it okay to post the photo as long as you put where it was from? Thanks for your insight! I'm new to blogging - I guess I've been living in a cave! :) Love your blog!!
These images are embedded from houzz.com. Their pictures are made available for that purpose and by embedding them in HTML here on my blog if someone clicks on a photo it will take them to the public posting on houzz.com. This is different than copying and or saving the photo file and uploading it yourself. If you do that it should only be done with permission of the photographer. Great question!
We really want to get some land out here in Cali, but it is so expensive! We are looking into quite smaller houses to put on the land. I sometimes wonder how small we could go with kids. What are your thoughts on that?
That's a really great question to explore. Maybe even enough for a post comparing and contrasting our experiences in a small home (like when the 6 of us were in the VG 2 bed 1 bath for 6 months during the "building" process that didn't turn out) versus living in a large house here. There are trade offs with both, indeed, but to answer your question I think you can go VERY VERY small. I think its a matter of planning and priorities. I'll think more and maybe write up a post. My first thought is that having lots of land, and perhaps weather that allows many days of the year out of doors solves a lot of size needs for large families.
Thanks for your great information, the contents are quiet interesting.I will be waiting for your next post. interior design
