1 C coconut oil
1 1/3 C cocoa powder
1/2 C honey
3/4 C sugar
1 T cinnamon (optional--I love it this way)
11 C oats
1 1/2 C powdered milk
First: Mix first four ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
When the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is warm and smooth add it to the bowl of oats mixed with the powdered milk.
Mix the liquid and powdery oats, sometimes by hand at the end, to get the liquid coating the oats.
Spread out and bake on two ungreased cookie sheets at 300 degrees for 15 minutes. It smells so good baking :).
I like to add pecans to mine and enjoy it as a dessert-tasting breakfast cereal. I think it would be great topping yogurt, too.
