Tedious little task like removing staples from sub-floor are a stress relief for me. I was in a meditative mood as the sun went down and I picked and pulled away at those little things while my husband had time with the kids. Some days I just want to zone by the time he gets home, and doing something like this makes me feel a lot more satisfied than sitting in front of the tube.
